The Oblate Program

Oblates are lay men and women who associate themselves with a particular Benedictine Abbey or monastery and share a spiritual union and human friendship with that monastic community. Oblates strive to incorporate Benedictine values and spirituality into their everyday lives. They are bonded in prayer, love and commitment, becoming partners in the prayer and works of the Abbey.
